“Ray can you settle it down…people are laughing too hard”

Brian Kirshner, Owner of the Lido Theatre FSJ

Ray grew up in a small town in N.B. Canada. With five older sisters, they made him spend the first six years of his life in dresses and make up. He knew that the path he was on, would be an interesting one.

He spent most of his school days in drama and playing in a band (no he didn’t go to band camp). Upon graduating he studied Theology. Finally, after traveling many different paths, he knew that the stage was where his heart was. He left N.B. and moved to the big city of Toronto to start a career in the business of magic. He has performed in almost every venue, on almost every stage and on many TV stations across Canada, US and well as in Bermuda.

As one of the co-founders of the original “Battle of Magicians” show…he has helped it take on many different forms.  The show has toured from Sydney NS to Nanimo BC. His one goal is, for people to leave the show saying “that was the most fun I have had in a long time”.
